Help!!! BP & HR out of control.

I have always had High Blood Pressure but during the surgery to have a loop recorder inserted my blood pressure was very low so my Cardiologist told me to stop the HCTZ (water pill) I was taking. When I went in for my follow-up appointment a week later the doctor determined my heart was stopping frequently for too long of a period. I was immediately scheduled for a pacemaker. On Monday the 22nd I was in surgery. Afterwords my blood pressure was back to being high (141/110) and my heart rate was 106. They explained it was my reaction to the pain. When I was released from the hospital the next day I was incredibly sore. I went home and slept finally for a few hours. On Wednesday I felt better and was actually up moving around I didn't even take my normal 4 hour naps. Yesterday I saw the doctor for my follow-up he checked the pacemaker and it was active more then he projected it would but he said that it was not a bad thing. He still said not to take the blood pressure medicine. Now today I feel like I was hit by a truck. My blood pressure is high at 147/107 with my heart rate at 127bpm. The left part of my chest under the breast has shooting stabbing pains. I feel my heart pounding. It like I can feel the pacemaker working overtime. Like its shocking my heart. Is this just my anxiety at this point or is this serious enough to go back to the hospital??? Please Help!

....go to the ER...

None of us like going there, but when it comes to our hearts and a new device - anything is possible, but wouldn't you prefer to wait for perhaps hours in the ER an be told everything is okay or treatable versus hanging around home with so much uncertainty???

I truly hope nothing is seriously wrong.

Update us when you can????
