I got my Medtronic PM in June this year. So far it is great! My problem is frequent fluttering in my left pectoral (or heart) when in bed trying to sleep. However the PM keeps on tickin' away right through the episodes. I also feel fairly frequent PVC'S (OR PAC"S---can't tell the difference). Any ideas? I would love some sleep!-I'm 75.--Island Boy

Hi Island Boy,
Yes all of what you are feeling I have felt for the 2 years I have had pm. Not to worry says EP. The pac's make me short of breath. Feel them and fluttering more when I am lying on left side at night. I suppose just part of having a pm but it has kept me alive, as I am 100% paced. I have become used to it now, just part of life.
It will take a little while to adjust to it then hopefully won't worry you anymore.
