Limitations ? Per lifting?

My 11month grand daughter lives with me - im concerned about what i can do after my pacemaker is placed. Like picking her up out of her crib ? She weighs @26 lbs. Im concerned that lifting with my right arm will still strain or pull on my chest - how long do i need to have someone here to help with my baby?

I was told no more than 20 lbs with the left arm for 6 weeks. Picking up with the right arm and using the left for balance will work, but you might want help for the first week or so because even though 20 was allowed I did not feel up to it right away. I found dealing with the squirmies harder than picking up. I sat on the floor to change diapers and play.
