Come out in spots?

Hi all had my pacemaker fitted on 10th July so still early days but I have come out with itchy spots all over my neck and on my chest please help could this be a reaction to the pacemaker has anyone else has similar happen them I am only 27 years old and don't want to be having these all the time

It's just that it's all round were pacemaker is fitted and reli itchy so bad will write a diary

First you said neck and chest, then around the pm. If it's ONLY around the pm, get the cardio to look at it to rule out infection. If it's on a broader area, then it's more likely a reaction to something else, not the pm inside you.

If your surgery was 4 months ago, odds are this is not the pm. I would check with your gp first. I had something similar, turned out to be an allergy to Aleve. Write down what you are eating, what products you use on your face, any chemicals you may have been around, anything you can think of. Sometimes just writing it down is all it takes for the light to come on. I had been getting the itchy rash for months before I started a food diary and put it together that every time the rash got worse, I'd taken an Aleve the day before.
