Could be the nerves starting to knit back together. For me it felt like stabbing pain off and on and it HURT. I didn't happen all the time but when it did, I felt it!
When in doubt, check with your Doctor.

Sharp pain

Hi, I also experienced what you have described though more under the breast, not in nipple region. This happened to me approx 3 weeks post PM implant, it started with random stabbing pains but as the day went on they came closer and stronger. I went to ED as I work at a hospital and I was given a full examination and was under close watch for a few hours. There was no medical explanation as to the sharp pains, my xray showed the leads were in the correct place and all other tests were fine. The pains lasted for approx 2 days and I have not had them since, I am now 3.5 months post implant and have mentioned pains to cardiologist and they also have no explanation.
I hope your pains have ceased, good luck
M

Hi! While I have not experienced what you have described, any lingering and/or intense pain should be discussed with your medical care. I hope you get an answer and relief soon. Hopeful Heart
