Pacemaker incision pain

I am only 2 days post surgery and have significant pain. I get nausea with the oxy. Any suggestions? Can I ice it?

Ice is fine, just wrap it in a towel and don't leave it on longer than 15 min. Have you tried Tylenol? It doesn't do anything for me normally but for some reason post-surgery it's great. Don't take the oxy if it makes you feel bad! If you're in a lot of pain, you could ask for something else but if it's been 2 days you should be ok with a combination of otc and ice. Feel better soon!! I found day 2 was the worst, it got better every day after that.

Ice the area

Hello,

After my PM implant about two months ago, I placed ice pack on the area and it helped a lot! The ice pack had material on the outside and insulated material inside
to hold the ice. Every time you feel discomfort
fill your ice pack with ice and let it rest on the area.

After my cut began to scab, I placed pieces of alovera
plant (peeled and only using the inside of it), and it has helped the healing process. My doctor was impressed
with my progress when I went back for follow up
appointment.

Hope you feel better!
