Heart aching

I had a St. Jude pacemaker implanted last year in June. I have Afib and when my heart drops out of Afib my heart wouldn't start up right away and therefore the need of the pacemaker.

My question is, does anyone else experience an ache in the heart with each beat as my HR starts lowering from high 80's and 90's until it reaches low 80's and lower. It only lasts a few seconds but it is frustrating and worries me a little. It's bearable and doesn't cause any other problems.

I've asked the doctor who implanted the pacemaker and he doesn't seem alarmed by it but doesn't give me an explanation of why it happens. I would just like to know if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks.
