Hi everyone I just got my PM on May 1st. PM Technician and Surgeon check my condition next day and they said everything was working properly. But, last night( May 3rd) after falling asleep about 2 hours, my heart was beating so fast and heart rate was 104, BP was 174/ 95. I feet were even sweating and difficult to breathe. After I took off CPAP and tried to calm down, within 30 Min, I feel quickly normal and BP went down tp 140/ 85. heart rate 65. later I put on CPAP again and in about 5-10 min my heart start beating fast and feet start getting sweat. So I am so scared to be like that again and not using CPAP tonight ( may 4th) and of course for being week end I can't call the doctor at sleep disorder center and my surgeon until Monday, the 6th. Does anyone has same or similar problem? Any suggestion is appreciated.

CPAP VS O2 Concentrator

I have a CPAP, PM and O2 concentrator and I don't have anything near the same problem, except I dislike the CAPAP and just use my O2 concentrate and PM each night. I am able to put the concentrator in an adjoining room, so I don't hear it running. I've been doing this for several years with the knowledge of my dr and I've had no problem what so ever. Actually I feel better in the morning with using the O2 concentrator.
I certainly have no suggestion as to why you would have such conflict between the PM and CPAP when using the two and would suggest that you use your concentrator in place of the CPAP unless you have a problem doing that and check with the dr first thing Monday.
Good luck,
