junctional rhythms

Hey everyone....
So I've had my pm now for about 3 months and I still am not feeling like myself. Just plain worn out. I feel a lot of what I guess are spasms maybe in my the low center of my chest. If I twist around or stop what I'm doing and take deep breaths I can make them stop. I work on a tele floor at a hospital and the other day I just wasn't feeling good. Chest felt all fluttery again so I hooked myself up to a monitor and it was almost all junctional again. I thought the pm was going to stop that? Does anyone else have this?

My low rate is paced a 70 right now. I haven't talked to them about the spasms yet. I go in on the 9th for another appointment so ill ask them about it then unless it gets to wherr I can't handle it before.

Junctional is your heart beating on its own at random. The pm can add beats when you're uneven and speed you up when you go too slowly, but when our hearts get wonky and take off on their own, all the pm can do is watch. The only way to treat junctional would be to pace you at a higher rate, so if the junctional rate is 80, pace you at 90. Depending how high your rate is to start with, that may not feel too good. Talk to your dr, see if they can tweak your settings to help you feel better.

Have you been seen about the spasms?
