A month ago had a Medtronic Pacemaker/Defibrillator implanted. Have noticed that since then I have had a problem being out of breath with the smallest activity. And find the unit is very uncomfortable. I am not new to implants. I had my first Medtronic device implanted in 2003 and the second in 2012. Never had trouble of any kind with either of them. Was walking up to 5 miles a day and was unaware of any problem until my checkup in December. Then a month later, after a cardiopsyiology study my pacemaker was replaced with a Pacemaker/Defibrillator. Just surprised that I am finding these problems after none for over 10 years. Any one else with similar experience?

You figured it out from HK's post....good for you!
Most likely a setting adjustment or two.
Since it sounds like it is with activity, it could be a Rate Response or Upper Limit setting. Depends on why you needed the PM but nothing listed in your profile so not sure.
Talk to your Doc.....feel better.

I've only had my PM for a few months. So I haven't experienced the problems you've posted.
Based upon other posts here I'm wondering if one of your heart leads has worked loose. Maybe one of the leads going from the PM side?
Since you've had PM's before you know this isn't normal. I'd get checked out as soon as possible.
