Tammy a thank you;

Thanks for getting back Tammy; I searched as you advised and have found a few comments from some others regarding the persistent cough.
Some say their Dr or Cardiol told them its not related to PM, others say they had been told it was only a virus or allergic reaction to meds maybe although most are not convinced reading between the lines, one guy says he had this problem and it was confirmed to be an AV block which he was treated for but even after that the cough returned so who knows!

Another says he has same feeling and is worse at night or after exercise and even when talking sort of like that tickly urgy type of cough, as he said its really frustrating and doesnt go with the Dr`s fob off as nothing and is determined to find out more.
Maybe like you said Tammy I wonder if its caused by the wires irrating something like the lung area being so close or chest rise and fall when breathing that causes irration in the windpipe or whatever, geez I`m really drawing a long bow here aren`t, getting to technical even for myself.........I knew I should`ve been a brain surgeon!! missed my calling eh.
Hope between you, me and others we can find some sort of link to it all.
I wiil bring it up with the cardio rehab team on Monday as I have my first session with them then to go over exercises and physio advice as I can attend up to 12 sessions or classes with other groups who have all been there and are on the mend and also get feedback from them as well, If I hear or learn anything new I will let you and others know on here, as they say you can never stop learning.
My Dad always said if anyone reckons they are an expert dont believe them cause breaking it up he said was, an ex is non existent and a spert is a drip under pressure!! my or his weird sense of humor.

Thanks again Tammy for your help and input, your strengh and determination never fails to enspire me and I`m sure everyone else, meant to ask too, are you from Australia? I am, sydney in fact, because wonder if you have heard of Prof Kilbourne or Dr, as I`ve been told he`s pretty much recognised all over the world, anyway just thought I`d ask just in case you know.
Hope the weather wherever you are is better than here as its like a monsoon here at the moment,wet, wet and more wet!! good weather for ducks as they say. that is if your a duck!!
Take care and have a great weekend. John

No, I'm from US

No, I'm from the US, so I'm not familiar with Prof. Kilbourne. There are a LOT of people out here who are from there, so I'm sure there will be many others who will comment on where exactly they are from. I bet there will be some that will know him, or who actually go to him.

I hope your rain stops soon. We're lucky where I am, because we are entering spring. We have some strong winds right now, but since I'm from the west, we don't have snow right now. We even have some sun!

I still hope others (like Don, Tattoo Man, TraceyE, Smitty, HurtHeart, and other regulars) will comment on the cough thing. I just don't know much about that, since I've never had it. I do know I have a couple of small issues that I've been told are from the leads either lying on, or stimulating a nerve, so since nothing else applies to your cough, it's totally a guess to ask about.

Stay dry, and enjoy that beautiful country of yours, that I've only seen on TV! Best wishes on your recovery too. You're closer than you think to feeling good!

You know you're wired when...

Airport security welcomes you.
