Hi all, just wanted to catch ya up. I went to my doctords office today to get the event monitor. I didn't get to see the doctor of course but I did talk to his nurse a lot. The nurse stated that the doctor is looking for irregular heart beats and Vtach. I am scared that, that is what he is looking for but I want to know if I have it. I have to wear the monitor for two weeks or until they gather enough information to know what he wants to do. I am also having atrial tach in the av node. I had a ablation to my sa node in December which lead to this pacemaker. I do not want to have to go through another ablation. I am scared but trying to work through this. I will let ya know what he finds, when I know something. I wouldn't know what to do without you all. Thank you all so much for being there.
Tina

Normal response

Being scared, especially of the unkown, is a normal response. When they figure out what's going on then you and your Dr's can deal with it.

fear

Fear is perfectly normal! I tell myself that it's less scary knowing what I'm dealing with than having a dangerous condition and not knowing about it. Good luck.
