Hey everyone, sorry to bother ya again. I have being doing ok. I took the biggest step ever and drove to TN by myself it was a 10 hour drive. I did have anxiety on the way but made it and stayed a week and then drove back 14 hours to visit my daughter on Friday. My concern is since I have gotten to my daughters I have been having palps and fast heart rate, not sure how fast scared to check it. If you remember on my last post my doctor told me I was have atrial tach and palps but to watch it for 3 months. I think I was so tired from the ride that it brings it on worse and I am under so much stress right now. I haven't called the doctor because my machine is suppose to be downloading every night and it just starting happening when I got back to VA. I am still proud that I drove there and back on my own. HUGE step for me. But this morning I am feeling uncertain, scared, waiting for something to happen. Ugh I just want to get a handle on this. I went to eat out with my daughter whom I haven't seen in 3 months and couldn't because driving over there I started getting palps really bad and was so full of anxiety I couldn't eat. Least to say my daughter was disappointed :(. I hate when I feel like I let me kids down. Just need to vent and any feedback would be great.

Have your docs tried heart ablation surgery? Meds for the palps and hr?
Stressed out

and pretty hard to rest when your stressed out. Call your dr, talk to him/her, or go see them. Find out whats going on, if its nothing you can rest and relax, if its something your at the docs and they can handle it.Its what you pay them for. But, yes 14 hours is to long to be on the road, next time break it in half you and your daughter both will be happier.

Is not a good thing for those even in the best of health. That is why professional drivers have to keep a log and are dictated to how many hours they can drive. You are over fatigue and the palps are busting right through the Toprol. You need to calm down and get some rest and you should be fine, in my unprofessional opinion. Moderation in all things good saith The Lord.

It is just over 10 years since a dual lead device was implanted for complete heart block. It has worked perfectly and I have traveled well near two million miles internationally since then.
