got a shock today

Hey, got knocked on my ass today by a shock from my icd. felt like i got hit with a baseball in my chest. nothing was going on so it came as a shock. anyone else ever have this happen?

...Contacted your Cardio yet? A shock means that something went wrong & it needs to be looked at.

Called doc this morning, they looked at my nightly report and said i was in afib for 10 hours and got shocked back to normal rhythm. never had afib so now that is something new, thought a patient was mad for waiting for their rx and threw something at me until i ended up on the floor. lol
