Dear all,
I was wondering whether anyone who works out in the gym or goes swimming and has had a PM (+/- a subclavian clot) has ever had throbbing pain around subclavian and the left neck when exercising and raising their heart rate? I have tried to get answers elsewhere (medical folk) and after a long break from this site - last year sometime I think, figured I would see if anyone on here, however far flung, may be able to help?
It would just be nice to know if it is a common occurrence, whether it will go away after a time etcetera? Pacemaker is about 3 or so years old (time disappears!)
Thank you

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.

I've never had a clot or a pain like you describe. With that combination- past history and throbbing pain- I would ask for an ultrasound to rule out a new clot. Hopefully it's just a random pain.
