I got a pacemaker put in last week. I feel great! But sometimes, while sitting, not often though......I get palpitations in my lower throat. I go to my doctor next week and he's good so I'm sure he;ll fine tune. I just wanna know what questions to ask. Thanks

Thank you Frank. I had to get my pacemaker because ,y heart rate was ranging 35 to 43 hb. So I never had palpitations before. Thank you for your reply.

The important thing is to ask about the palpitations that you are experiencing. Since this is your first checkup it's likely he will make several changes. The pacers come with the factory with default settings that are supposed to provide safe support for you heart until the initial checkup. While the factory settings are generally safe, they aren't always comfortable.
