Breast pain

I'm having left sided breast pain.. I also can feel a mass.. Had my sister feel it too just to confirm.. A few months ago I couldn't lay on my stomach without pain in that breast.. So I'm not thinking the pain stems from the pacemaker..pacemaker was inserted 12-20. I'm planning on going to doc in the morning.. Can I have a mammogram.

Hi! taytay, Yes, go in now. There are several ways the doctor can evaluate what is going on. Make sure evdryone from the doctor to labs know what device you have and its location. The info should also be on all of your charts. I will be thinking of you. Hopeful Heart

You not only can,you SHOULD asap, don't mess around with a mass. Just make sure they know you have it. They may end up doing an ultrasound also. Good luck to you.

TayTay, don't wait, take care of this ASAP !!!

I was having pain in my breast, and it ended up being a very serious cancer.

I'm a two time survivor, and now have a ICD (implanted pacemaker/cardiodefibrillator), and believe it was needed due to the damage of the radiation. But the radiation and chemotherapy did the job on the cancer, and the ICD is doing the job now for my heart.
I'm STILL HERE, Surviving!

So, take care of this immediately, and hang in there.

Went to doc while doing the breast exam she noticed the hard thumping in my upper stomach.. She said that.is not normal and to get to the heart doc soon.. So I now have a mammogram on thursday.. Left the doc office, called heart doc had appointment for yesterday.. Went to dollar store.. Thumping got really bad and the manager called ambulance.. She said I was really pale and sweaty.. In the er my heart doc adjusted the pacemaker and now feeling much better.. He said it was obviously set too strong.. Lol. Ya think.. But doing better...
