cath lab

Did you have an EP study done? It's the same as that only you feel much better after your PM is in.
I was scared, but the cath lab was really interesting. There is so much medical equipment it's like something out in space. There are four or five techs in there who work with the doctor as a team. They watch everything.
They give you some good drugs to make you relax and mostly I went to sleep. The only pain I felt was at the groin when they went in. I was so high I really didn't care.
Don't worry. It will be fine.

HurtHeart said it well ~ I have had my Energizer Bunny (my PM) since 2009, and the Dr. says I should be good 'til 2017.
After having my PM placed, I listened to the Dr., half listened to 'well meaning' Friends/Relatives who knew someone of someone of a Cuz' who had the procedure, but most of all, I listened to my own instincts my body was telling me. IF I was tired, I rested ~ IF I had questions, I called the Dr. office/nurse/EP. Your PM maker should have provided info w/a # you could call w/any questions when you did not need a Dr. for.
Main thing, just listen to your Dr. and your body. PM's are Great. After the first few months of recovery, soreness, etc., I have forgotten I have my PM and only remember I have one when it is mentioned or I accidentally 'hit' that area w/my hand/arm. My PM is just like my right arm ~ Could not do w/o it, but forget I have it ~ ha-ha.

You need to know where the hospital is !
Your question is rather non-specific ; what exactly do you want to know?
