Questions I should ask

My morning fix is now a cup of coffee, english muffin and logging on to pacemaker.org. I have a three week, three day appointment on Friday with my cardiologist. My main question is why at rest does my HR speed up in the evening and why in the AM is my blood pressure so high. Hopefully he won't say I don't know. Those of you who are so knowledgeable, if you can remember back to your first cardiologist visit after implant, would you suggest questions to ask that I might not realize need asking. It may simply be that I am not used to a heartbeat above 60 and the dual chamber does kick it up but why at rest? I had my meeting with Medtronic rep and the PM was set not to allow rate below 60, which is fine because I don't have to worry about keeling over. But when I heard my quantity of life would be better but not my quality, I uttered a vehement s..... Turns out the rate response had not been activated and it I had not gained a little knowledge from you all, it would not have been. As so many of you say, the squeaky wheel....
My site discomfort has been minimal managed easily with tylenol. Using arm gently but not too much. I have not ventured out yet so really have not tested the RR, (feel like a teenager with all the abbreviations). I know each one of us is unique, but if you can think of any generic type questions about pacemaker capabilities, my doctor visit will be more worthwhile. Thanks.

I asked about whether there was an option to lower the pacing rate overnight as I was very aware of my pulse when I settled down for the night. There was and it wasn't turned on so we set that up.
