Had my 3rd defibrillator installed Wed the 13th and it went well mostly. He had trouble finding the correct spot to place the 3rd lead. Most of the veins were too small and one was too big. But tweaked it a bit and it works. The numbers on ohms were 849 which is a little high. I now have 4 leads in the heart, 3 that work and one that is capped. I go this Friday to have the staples taken out.
I am doing pretty well as far as pain goes, the pocket was already there for the new defibrillator so I am sore but not too bad. Went to have hair done on Friday, so I would at least look good. Will keep you updated as I progress along. See ya, Judy

Hi! It is great you are doing so well. On my second ICD. You are right that once the pocket is there, recovery is easier if there are no complications. Of course, the knowledge gained from the first experience is helpful also. Keep your positive attitude and take care. Hopeful Heart
