Pacemaker

Since my pacemaker was put in I have been off balanced. Two doctors assured me it's not the heart or the pacemaker. I feel like I am floating on a boat most of the time. Now I am seeing a Chiropractor, instead of a Neurologist. I have had seven adjustments but still feel Dizzy. I am so unhappy, I have been feeling this way for three months. Has any one else experienced this problem? Please let me know.

Lots of possibilities...

Has your cardiologist suggested a tilt table test?

Have you been checked for inner ear issues? (Just because this started at the same time as your PM implant doesn't mean it is related.)

Did you start new meds at the time of your PM implant?

Are you diabetic?

Lots of different possibilities that you should discuss with your PCP - from the ears to the feet.

I hope you get it resolved.

were on same boat here. I drove myseld to the hospital last august 15 complaining of weakness on my left shoulder and leg and getting off balanced. then they did work up at the e.r. and said im having mobitz type 2 and after 2 days the implanted a medtronic adapta adr001 but i still feel the same. i do work out 35 to 50 mins a day on the treadmill and only 31 y/o

i've been to chiropractors , neurologist , eent etc....

and they all end up saying that i have pinched nerve or anxiety

hope you feel better...

It is just over 10 years since a dual lead device was implanted for complete heart block. It has worked perfectly and I have traveled well near two million miles internationally since then.
