It's been about 3 months or so since i had my ICD implant and there is a minor keloid scarring at the incision which is pink and kinda shiny. It doesn't hurt but gets abit itchy from time to time i was wondering if there was any way to get rid of this?? Thanks (:

keloids

I saw a plastic surgeon regarding my scar. I had the same issue as you... a keloid formed and it was itchy. She gave me a prescription steroid cream. She said that after 6-8 months she could do steroid injections that could help shrink the keloid down, however I never went back because the steroid cream worked quite well.

Lighten the scar

A doctor told me some time ago that applying a steroid creme like Topicort would lighten up scarring. I use it for scoriasis and it does seem to work. A little bit goes a long way.
