I have installed my PM at 06/12/2012, everything in order, except that my wound, occasionally opened, or rather the skin opens and closes. on 06/11/2014 I made another operation to set better PM. but the problem persists. I was visited to dermatologist and He gave a remedy , no result. and today my skin is 50% open, no infections or pain.
I have tried all, I never held tight clothes, I held the arm without moving for months, hang a month closed and then opened again. the skin is very thin when it seems recovered
what to do to ( sorry for my english )

Healing..

I have not personally dealt with what you are dealing with, but I do know someone who had a wound that would not heal. She went to a specific wound clinic to deal with it, and had dressing changed all the time to keep it clean, and they put her on protein shakes to help with healing. So, I agree with Selwyn, try adding protein and go to a wound specialist! Good luck!
Thank you

Thank you for answers. I need to find a specialist for closing the wound. I will tell you.

Wound healing

Sorry to hear of your distressing experience.
As sunshinewishes says you need all that screening and the attention of a wound specialist.
You do need to be taking in protein for wound healing. You must make sure you are not loosing weight. Trace elements ( such as zinc) and vitamins are important.
You must not be fiddling with the site.
There should be a hydrocolloid dressing over the wound.
If a wound is not healing, sometimes the pacemaker needs to be re-sited. You can even have them sited in the upper leg!! More usually, it is the opposite side of the chest.
