Hi friends !
I have my PM since 06.12.2012 , everything is going ok , my PM is OK as my Doctor says, but one thing is making me worry, my wound doesn't heal complet, and if it get closed ofter some days it opens again, it doesn't hurt, or bleed, some fluids come out but just a little, my doctor was surprised ,I did have a check at 11.07.2013, all he told me was to take care not to wear close clothes, I see my wound doesn't care to heal, anyone has experienced something like this...? what should I do, ,,,,,

Wound Healing

TraceyE raises a good point. Infection should be ruled out first. Once that is done, you may need evaluation for other conditions that cause poor wound healing. There is a condition called Ehlers-Danlos, for example, that has this as a symptom. If you do have a condition that makes you prone to poor wound healing, it is important to know for any future procedures.
As far as this wound is concerned, the most important thing is to rule out and prevent further infection... I had a similar issue with an abdominal surgery and the wound just kept opening for more than two months. It finally healed on its own, but I just had to keep going to the dr, getting it checked, and being very careful.
I wish you a speedy recovery!

2nd Opinion

Most definitely get another opinion as TraceyE stated.
I'm not a Doc, but if it is open enough for fluid to come out, I would think germs, dirt, fibers, etc. could get in. I would keep it covered with sterile gauze until you see another Doctor.
Good luck,

This is not normal. Cardiologists know hearts, not wound complications. I would consider getting evaluated by an infectious disease specialist to confirm you don't have an infection. Once infection is ruled out, possibly a wound care dr could help you. But first, get infection ruled out. They key to an infection is catching it quickly and treating it aggressively.
