Hi Neil Follow up after having a PM varies from country to country and even from hospital to hospital. Here in the UK we have highly trained cardiac technicians who do a first checkup between 2 and 8 weeks after implant and then at around 3-6 monthly intervals after that BUT it varies from hospital to hospital ! Also your medical condition may affect the frequency of check-ups
I have not seen the cardiologist since my implant and that was 16 months ago.
If you are feeling good it is just possible that the PM settings of 8 weeks ago are perfect for you, on the other hand a little bit of tweaking may make you feel even better.
Certainly you should have had a check-up by now ( it is nice to know how long the PM battery is forecast to last for example )
For your own peace of mind you should chase them up and find out how the system works in Hong Kong ... you may have "fallen down the cracks" and been forgotten.
Best of luck
Ian
