Is it possible that through the years your pacemaker settings can adjust, making your heart beat a little too fast at times? My friends Mom told me that my heart was beating about 101 times per minute and it's not a wonder I have such bad panic disorder. Something I should discuss with my doctors perhaps? My relaxed heart rate is pretty high, yet my blood pressure is 'perfect.'

Fast HR

Hello,
Like 28Sedan said, see your dr.
As for your question, "Is it possible that through the years your pacemaker settings can adjust, making your heart beat a little too fast at times?" I'll never be guilty of saying what a PM can or cannot do, but having one reset it self to give you a faster HR, is most unlikely.
There are many things that can cause a faster HR and that is why you need to see your dr. Some of them may cause a change in BP, but changes in BP is not a good indicator of change in your hart function. Also, if needed there many medicines that can be prescribed to slow down a fast heart rate.
Good luck,
Smitty
