dizzy

I've had my PM for about 4 weeks now. Everything seemed to go well. I had it put in because I was feeling anxiety like attacks where I got light headed and almost passed out..come to find out my heart was in a stage 2 block and then went to stage 3 while in the hospital awaiting the placement of the PM. Today as I was in the store I got very dizzy and started feeling like I was going to pass out again! Called the oncall cardio and they told me to rest this weekend and not do much and get checked on Monday..Why would I be feeling the light head and passing out?? My wife took my pulse and it was running in the 80's. Am I just over paranoid or what?

I had dizzy spells at first. Talking to lots of people I found out that the PM brought my heart rate up to a steady 80 bbm and that now my system was getting use to this improvement. More oxygen to the brain more blood and so on. I have had my PM for 18 months now and I feel good. I came on here and read all the info I could and was encouraged to keep on keeping on be patient. i had a hell of of begining lots of confusion sleep problems dizzy spells. I had some PM settings changed even went back for another stress test. All is good for me and happy to say no major problems just my fear of not knowing. So see the DR. talk to him or her and keep coming back to keep us informed how its going for you.
