I am two weeks past receiving my pacemaker. In the morning my left arm is reddish purple. Over the day it is less so. I also had a small bruise at the sight of my IV and in the last two days it has tripled in size. Should I be worried? I am still quite light heade4d as well.

Something is not quite right and you should be checked out by a doctor.
Never hesitate to go back for help as it is your health and something like this should be seen now rather than later - it could be something or it could be nothing, but wouldn't it give you some peace of mind knowing what the heck is going on?
Please call and make an appt and let us know what they say.
Take care,
Pookie

Get it checked out, something is not right. Dizziness is probably something easy like the settings, but the bruising is not normal and your arm should not be purple.
iv site

Go to ER for the Iv site. I had a blood clot in my arm. Don't rub it what so ever. Don't delay either.
Don't wanna scare you, they will put you on blood thinner for several weeks.

I did not see your posts until today. Yikes!! I did see a doctor before my hand turned bad at the iv site. He said he did not know what caused the reddish color in my arm. He wanted me to just watch it. I ended up putting ice on my hand and that seemed to help. All of the markings are now gone. I will be 4 weeks past surgery on Wednesday and I am still having problems with blood pressure and being light headed in the am. I do not see the doc who put in the pacemaker until Dec. 13. I am going to see a nurse practitioner tomorrow. I should be feeling normal by now right?

I sure would call my doc & ask to be seen. Doesn't sound right. Better safe than sorry is my motto.
Are you on a blood thinner like Coumadin? If so, has your level been checked since getting the PM?
