How fast are you going and have you talked to your dr?? If it's bad enough to keep you awake, it's bad enough to be seen.

I truly hope by the time you are reading this that you have at least contacted your doctor because if you had a PM for brady and are experiencing tachy - something ain't right.
Please don't ever hesitate to go to the ER when something is different because we are dealing with our hearts here and so what if it ends up being a false alarm at the ER - at least you will get peace of mind and perhaps an answer to what is happening.
Take care of yourself:)

Tachycardia

Thank you everyone for your fast response. I'd been to my GP and he had tried to calm it by increasing my Bisoprolol but that didn't work. I had my op at a hospital specially for heart disorders that is not close by but they had advised me when I first called them to go to GP first. I've had this tachycardia earlier in November but it was cleared when my Bisoprolol was doubled from 2.5 to 5mg. And when the cardiac team read the information that week from my pm they were satisfied that it was not a life threatening problem. However to live with a heart beating at 129 beats is awful and although they were not worried I was.
Anyway I'm back in normal beat this morning and not sure what did it, maybe delayed action from the increased dose of Bisoprolol. I shall find out this afternoon as I'm going to the heart hospital to have my pm read.
I'm very grateful for your concerns. It's so good to know I'm among friends who listen.
Xx

Have you Called...

...called your surgeon about the tachy?
That is nothing to ignore. Especially if it lasts 4 days. You should have called in after the first bout.
How fast was the HR when it happened? The faster it is & the longer it lasts, the more dangerous it is.
