pain

Hi Everyone, I have a question for anyone. Had my pacemaker implanted Sept,4,2012. Almost from the beginning while I'm walking I get tightness in my chest. Had a cardiac cath done 3 weeks after pm. Dr found nothing. I can only walk at a very slow pace or I have severe chest pain.Is this normal with the pm or what do I need to do?

Is your hr going up normally on exertion? The fastest way to tell is to put you on a treadmill with the pm computer and see if your rate goes up appropriately, and if not adjust the pm so that it does.
