Pulled muscle?

Hi I am 59 years old, and have had my pacemaker for 2 years. Yesterday, i rolled out of bed, and noticed a pain, like i have pulled a muscle close to my pacemaker. Is it possible its just a muscle close to but not involved with pacemaker? Has anyone ever had this to happen? I do not want to go to Dr. unless i am almost for sure it has something to do with pacemaker.

Can you press on the area near where the pain is felt. You may be able to locate the source and identify whether it is near the pacer. It is possible that you stretched some scar tissue in the pocket of the pacer.

My approach to minor pain in the pacer area is to wait and see. As long as it doesn't become inflamed or continue for more than few days I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes pain is right beside pacemaker, may be scar tissue, never thought of that. Thanks for the info. Frank.
