stitches

i got my pm 2 months ago and still have stitches that have not dissolved.occassionally i can some out.the dr is aware because i've seen him twice and he noticed it but did nothing.it just makes me wonder how much more stitch material is left and is this ok

numerous times i have pulled some of the stitches out.it still feels like there is some right below the scar,but i'm not sure.the nurses have seen them and have been unsuccessful,and the dr just looks at the site and does nothing,he gives me the impression that he is suprised that theres still stitches there.i will try what was suggested but still being careful cause i dont want an infection to happen because i tried to play dr

Pull them out yourself. Just get some small (like cuticle scissors) snip it and grab it with tweezers and yank it out. If your not comfortable with that just tell your doc to do it when you see him. 2 months they are not doing anything for you at this point.
