Medical Id jewelry question

So I have decided to get myself a bracelet to identify that I have an ICD in case someone comes upon me in need of medical help. My doctor's physician assistant wanted me to wait until I had genetic testing to find out if I have "long QT syndrome" which is what they discovered I had when I had my cardiac arrest. Whether it's drug induced or genetic is the big question. My thought process is this: The average person is not going to know what "long QT syndrome" is, therefore it's a moot point. So I asked my family doctor if it made more sense to just indicate that I had an ICD and she said yes, because the average person, as well as medical personnel would know what that meant. So I go online to order the bracelet and am limited to 20 characters per line. So...weigh in here...Implanted cardiac defibrillator is too many letters. If I put "ICD pacemaker" does that make sense to an average person? What do you think?

I have drug induced long QT syndrome. I never thought of putting that on a bracelet. I have so much to put on a bracelet that it probably won't fit on it. Like cumodine, pacemaker and allergies. I thought of getting a flash drive medical alert device thing but don't know people would look for it when they need it.

I have the Online Medical Record from American Medical. It has my diagnoses, meds, drs, emergency contacts, surgery history and all sorts of other things. All I have on my id's is my name, PACEMAKER, and the phone number and password for my OMR. Whenever something changes, I update the online record, not the bracelets.

And ICD is fine,anyone reading it doesn't need it spelled out.

I have an SOS tailsman which is basically a braclet that looks like a watch & has folded up paper inside(sorta folds up like an accordian) with a water tight seal that states that I have Long QT & that I have a defib implanted + my name/address + emergancy contacts & any drugs i have to avoid/ or am allergic to + name of dr/gp/hospital (cant remember which or if its all 3)
