I'm a 59 year old male with brugada syndrome. I had a replacement defibrillator fitted in April this year, after a lead on the previous one fractured. Since it has been fitted I have been in constant pain. I have been checked for any infection but am still getting really bad soreness and shooting pain across my chest. The previous defib was a different shape to my new one and I was told this could cause rubbing, but I am in such pain that I am getting really depressed. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am not planning on letting any of this shorten my life. I am planning on living a long happy battery operated life. You never know maybe it will keep me alive longer. I sure know one thing I would have been dead before starting school without it.
