Went to follow up appt
So I went to my follow up appt on monday which was 4 weeks after getting a PM I told him I'm still having alot of flutter off and on and he says that isn't normal so he did a 24hr holter monitor to see if anything shows up before he does any adjustment with the settings. When they checked my PM I was told that I have extra electricity, which is what started my whole problem for inappropiate sinus tachycardia, and he also told me right now I'm 70% paced. My settings are 60 for low and 130 for high and just today I caught my heart rate hitting 53-55 before jumping up to 60, Hopefully I will get the results from my monitor on monday and everything will be ok. Does anyone else have problems with fluttering and chest discomfort even after getting a PM? I appreciate any advice or comments! Also here in a interesting fact..between both my drs in chicago and indianapolis they have 35 yrs of experience and so far I am only the 3rd person with IST that is this complicated so they are writing an article and going to use it as a teaching tool up in chicago..have to say I was a little excited about that and he also said he would give me a copy when they are done writing it!! :)
