I had my PM put in 2 weeks ago but now the problem I am having is my pulse, which is 60 when resting, but jumps to 90 as soon as I move. Just getting up will cause it to jump to 90. Is this a setting on the PM that they set as I am wondering if this is causing my dizziness and loss of balance.
Has anyone experienced this?
Thank you

my husband has had the same feelings since 5/31 when the pm was placed. He just went to Drs yesterday and they gave him a Salt based pill to take. He was checked when sitting and standing. Blood pressure dropped when going from sitting to standing. Pls get re- checked asap. I don't mean to frighten you but I must say if you read my post today, you will understand the concern. I just know that the pacer will stop the heart from pausing but it will not prevent a heart attack. If you dont have insurance, get together with the finance dept at the cardio office as to put your financial fears at rest. We all know that this alone can create stress. God Bless and have a Good day.

Jumping up to 90 is almost surely a setting. It's called rate response and it senses movement and raises your rate for you. It can take a few tries to find the balance between going up when you exert but not jumping up every time you sneeze. It has several sensitivity settings that can be adjusted. It may or may not be the cause of the dizziness but I'd call and ask to be checked.
