There were identical 3 comments listed and 2 of the identical responses have been deleted. Just in case there is a question why it states 3 comments and there is only 1 listed.
Thank you,
p.s. it's an easy thing to have happen.
Does it happen at the same time?

Just a thought if it is happening at the same time of night/early hours could it be the daily "self check" some PM perform?

If it occurs at the same time every night & the symptoms are the same & it's not a PM self check, the next possibility is stress/anxiety related. That can do this to you BTDTWTTS. I had this happen to me for 11 months a long time ago. Not from my PM, but from PTSD that pre-dated the PM.
Source of the anxiety doesn't matter, it all works the same!
Your name includes the word "Sarge." Are you a cop? Army? Some other service?

Pounding heart at night
by Kelly80 - 2012-06-13 04:06:57
Hi there
I too have the same symptoms. My pacemaker was fitted nearly 2 months ago for vasovagal syncope. I am now regularly woken in the night with a racing heart which is uncomfortable at times.
I have had everything adjusted 3 or 4 times now.
Does anyone have any ideas?
