I may be getting new medtronic tomorrrow? Im nervous now. I took my pulse with my bloodpressure machine that I check my BP with, I dont know how accurate it is. also im in niagara falls new york but the crdio doctors are in buffalo that I see I guess thats where Ill have the procedure. I do feel weird and dopey and its more than turning 60 last week. thank you for the concern I will update tomorrow hopefully.

Ah, the BP Machine...

...RMGD: They are notorious for missing pulses! I used to have one & it missed a bunch of them, scaring me out of my skin!
I'm gonna throw one out to you as a POSSIBILITY:
You may be in a long term state of what is called BIGEMINY, where every other beat is a PVC & the BP machine misses the PVC's because it is not sensitive enough to catch them. In reality your HR is twice what the machine says. I was in that state just before getting my PM & I felt just like you describe now.
OR - as a subset of what I suggested in the last para, your PM may be pacing you at 65, like it's supposed to when in EOL status & you're having multiple PVC's that the BP machine misses. You can also feel pretty cruddy when you are in the EOL state & you are functioning at a lower HR than you are used to.
Will be interesting to find out what IS causing you to feel so dopey, etc.
Good luck w/ the PM .
