Vibration at PM, feels like cell phone

It happens maybe once every day or two, and is not painful, but there is a 2-3 second vibration at the pacemaker.  At first I thought it was my cell phone but finally realized that it happened when I wasn’t carrying it.  And I never carry it next to the PM anyhow (well, almost never).

Doctor says all is well and no alarms. Manufacturer says it would make a tone if there was an alert but it doesn’t have a vibrator, just a small speaker.  It’s a defibrillator from Medtronic Protecta XT.

(And it just happened again as I was writing this. Lasted less than two seconds.)

I guess it is just something to accept as not understandable, like gravity.

Yes, I have

I had this problem a few months ago. That is why I called the cardiologist office because I thought it was my pacemaker... the reason for my last rant actually.... Anyway, turns out it was my upper back that was the problem. Seems that I had somehow dislocated the disc in my back which put a lot of pressure on the nerves that run down my left arm! As a result I was feeling a vibration like sensation in my hand and up my arm. The cardiologist sent me to see the chiropractor and he said.... "Hi! Glad to see you!" Then fixed me up with a few pushes and pulls. I haven't had the problem since.

I hope you find out what is causing your "vibrations" soon, because it can make you feel like your losing it! lol

I hope you have a great day,

I think I've read about other members experiencing something quite similar to what you describe.

If you would like to see their posts (and comments) then the SEARCH feature will have it. Just go up to the upper right hand corner of this page, click on SEARCH, and type in "vibrations" and see what pops up:)

Take care,
Pookie
