Just received a copy of my last interogation. It listed 26 episodes, 14 of the episodes listed high ventricular rates with the highest being 190bpm. The other 12 entries listed as AMS entries with the highest being 640bpm. I'm guessing that this is why I was put on flecinide. Should I be concerned or is this a normal occurance. The high V rates listed as alerts.

Sometimes a device must be tuned a few times before it is right. My cardiologist said it is like fine tuning a car.

O.K. so 190 is fast but not usually life threatening. How long did the episodes last? If its just a few seconds I would not be too concerned with it. If they are sustained and lasting 15-30 seconds then its a little more significant. If its longer than 30 seconds then you need an ICD if you don't already have one.
Now for the 640bpm....This rate is absolutely impossible for the heart to achieve. This suggest that there is a sensing problem with your lead. It needs to be adjusted. If they didn't do it, then Go back in and throw a fit. There maybe a problem with the lead that it can not be programmed around but this should have been explained to you. If you truely had a heart rate of 640bpm then you would not be here to tell us about it. Look on your report, there is usually a column for "initial interrogation" and "Changes" every company words it a little different but its a section usually around where it says what rates your set at that indicates any adjustments they made. If this is blank, you should probably find out why. The device should not be documenting a 640bpm heart reate. Most likely the sensitivity needs to be decreased but that is something they will have to look into.
