Hi! I have had my pacemaker for 5 years and am currently 13 weeks pregnant. The skin over my pacemaker has always been thin but is stretching out even more. Has anyone found success with a product that helps make the scar area "thicker?" My cardiologist is very concerned with how thin the skin is getting and is worried it may poke through. I was curious if anyone had used a cream or ointment that thickened up the skin over scar area or had any tips on how to keep it from poking through:)Thank you for any advice!

So, part of the beauty of being pregers is that it affects the elasticity of skin (to expand or not expand with or without stretch marks :) ). When I was pregnant with my second post pm I noticed a change in my skin but not enough to do what you are mentioning. Maybe have a chat with your ob about skin changes and possible solutions. Also, curious, but have you been loosing weight or been dehydrated a lot too?
Thank you!

I appreciate both of your comments! I have been very dehydrated b/c I have not been able to drink much due to the "all day sickness" thanks to my hormones. I am going to call my dermatologist to see if they can recommend a cream to help with the elasticity of my scar and concentrate on drinking more. I haven't lost weight but I think my skin is moving in different directions and stretching.
Thank you both for your time! I really appreciate the advice!

have you spoken with a dermatologist? That's where I'd go to for anything skin. Good luck.
