Feeling pulses in chest

I just got my pacemaker 2 weeks ago. I've noticed that occassionally when I'm in bed lying on my stomach and exhaling I can feel the PM pulses in my chest.There is no pain associated with this. I also noticed that the PM pulse and heartbeat are in sync with a slight delay between the pulse and the heartbeat which I would expect if the PM is working. Is this normal or indicative of a displaced lead. I have the Medtronic Adapta 2 lead PM.

I am a 35 year old on my second device. My first was installed in 2002, the replacement (Adapta DR) was installed in 2010. I have felt these same pulses you describe since my first device was implanted. My cardiologist assured me that they were not concerning and that some people are just more sensitive to the pulses delivered by the device. It's never become painful or caused me any problems, but... it does get annoying sometimes. One of my leads (I honestly couldn't tell you which one it is) tends to bother me more. I occasionally get a "yucky" sensation when that particular lead fires more than a few times, but I think it's just me and my sensitivity. I have noticed that the sensations occur less frequently with the new pacer. Hope that helps!
