5 days since surgery

Hi everyone,

Had my pacemaker put in last week Wednesday, pain wise things have gone pretty well. The only thing that I'm a bit concerned about is I'm having dizzy spells and feeling very tired. Should I go see the PM technician to have the settings adjusted or should I wait longer?

Dizziness

I would strongly suggest that you see your cardiologist and also have your pacemaker interrogated and the settings adjusted.

This is my 3rd pacer and I have had some difficulties but I do have incredible energy now.

This is a judgment call

You should be over dizzy spells almost immediately - IF that was a symptom you had going into getting the PM. You could be feeling tired as an aftereffect of the surgery. We all react to it differently. But even being tired should be going away by now.

IF the dizziness was NOT part of your pre-surgery symptoms, by all means go see the tech. That is NOT normal.
