B/P and adjusted to movement on PM

They had the settings on my PM set to "sensitive activity" for it to go up because I will be more active this summer with walking and gardening, grandkids etc. Prior, I could not get my HR up pass 100. So now the problem ,I make a bed and it goes to 120 heart beats per minute...chest feels pressured, short of breath and B/P goes up along with the lower number...problem with this I am getting dizzy a bit . Palpatations too. Leaves me weakish, short of breath, etc etc..and tired. .NOT liking it at all.
Calling doctor and the PM clinic to see if I can get in and get it checked or put back where it was...I know it is going to take some time adjusting but this sure isn't what I want to feel now.
I have had problems in the past with pulmondary hypertension. It was back to normal a few yrs ago but wondering now ...but think it maybe the pacemaker pacing numbers...I just don't know and going to find out.
Anyone else have had this?
PS: They told me to go to ER...I didn't cause it calmed down...I watched it and it got better...I actually felt the best today...now bummer this again...errr...Oh well. We shall see later what is up. Thanks for listening , sorry for the whine. Take care.

My pacer was briefly set like that and every time I moved a muscle I got ventricular pacing up in the 90's.

I endured this for a week to be sure and then had them change it back. They said it was too sensitive. I wondered could it be set to less sensitive.

My HR rarely goes above my setting of 70. For sure it does not stay up long. I have SSS.

I do have plenty of energy right now and expect if it's not enough they can turn on the ventricular leads or put that rate response back on.

I'm sure your EP can fine tune your settings. Good luck.

Sensitivity

The roads here in Washington State are a mess! Very rough, lots of potholes, etc. When riding in a vehicle my pacemaker will speed up as if I am exercising from all the bouncing from the rough roads. It can be so bad that I will go out of my way to find roads that are less rough. Once on smooth road my pacemaker slows down. I want the sensitivity though so when I really am exercising or just climbing stairs or walking to and from places it will speed up and I won't get breathless.

You fondly named your implanted buddy.

A properly implanted and adjusted pacemaker will not even be noticeable after you get over the surgery.
