magnets

Has anyone with a crt-d been able to use a mess screen door with magnets that close it when you go in or out..They fit on any door and close automatically with a line of magnets that click together...It is something new but great for a door and if you have pets or small children they can go in and out and it will close with the magnets....But, would those mess up a pacemaker-defib???I know it says to avoid magnets....I hope someone can tell me .I was getting ready to order one and got to thinking about going in and out past the magnets.,.Hope someone knows...thanks

Most magnets are safe if you keep them at least 6 inches away from pacer......but to be sure, contact your mfgr of your pacer as they will give you the latest advice for your model
