my dad had a pacemaker put in on NOV. 11,2011 the pacemaker moves around alot it want stay put why is thus happening it is bulging out really bad please help me to ease my dads mine

Having read this Forum for a good while, one thing comes across quite powerfully,..that is, Everyone has a unique relationship with thier New Best Friend...me too if its worth knowing.

Who really wants a chunk of computerised gizmo kit stuck in thier shoulder ?

No-one..except..and this is where the alien within suddenly becomes the wierdo room mate from planet X who can fix your computer, be an ace cook, a fine counsellor, a reliable confidant...all those fabulous attributes...
But,...oh my,..like a tiresome guest,..when is this uninvited prescence going to go ??

Well, never, so it seems to me that a big part of fostering a delinquent Pacemaker is ,quite simply getting to like it , if not actually love it...it is doing SO Much around the house...look, you dont fall over, no lying on the floor, no dizzyness,

Love the wierd Houseguest,..he/she/it aint going to move out.

Lets all take care of that thing in there

Just like your father, my pacemaker moved a lot for the first few months. I had mine put in Sept 9th and it didn't feel right right until late December. One thing I did was start a light upper body workout routine at a local gym to build up a little muscle around my new buddy. I can still felt it move when I jog but it's not painful and it gets less each week. It's all part of the process, tell him to call his doc with any questions as well.
