pacemaker leads

my de fibber is only 1.5 yrs old and needs new wires, what is up with that??? not old

I could only guess, best thing is to ask your dr. Are they defective, not placed in a spot that's working, dislodged... there are a lot of reasons why they could need replaced. If they are defective, I would look up your type of lead (should be on the id card) and see if others have had problems. But usually it's just not in a good spot or something else that's just bad luck.
