battery

hi, I was told that my pacemaker battery needed to be replace the big R showed up on the reading, on Oct. 3rd but that they can not replace it until Nov. 9th, how long after the big R shows up do you have before completion..I am 100% dependent on my pacemaker

I am completely uneducated (so why am I responding , not sure lol) but I thought I remember reading from prior posts 3 mo. I would assume you would have to calculate how long the "R" had been reporting.

I also thought I remember reading that at some point it will go into a type of reserve mode where you will still be paced but not at your same setting so you may not feel as well as you do with your current setting.

I'm sure someone with more technical knowledge will respond :)

ERI mode

ERI mode is elective replacement and is approx 3 months. After that it goes into EOL mode, end of life, when the pm has limited function. You likely won't feel too good in EOL but you will be safe. This lasts for another 3 months.
