Hi Alvin
After my iCD implant this year, I too had alot of the symptoms you describe. Did you have it fitted sub-pectoral?! If so, it sounds very similar to me. I raised the dame concerns with my cardio and he actually said the same as Frank - it may well be extremely close to sensitive tissue which has been inflamed due to the invasive surgery, or could even be resting against a number of nerves. Try and bear with it though as it new tissue will regenerate and the pain will subside. However just to be certain, if it persists, contact the cardio mate.
Welcome

Welcome to the forum.
Sounds like the pacemaker has moved so that it's pushing on a nerve or sensitive area. The only advice at this point is don't let the doctor put you off with pain killers.

Good luck with your surgery. It will improve life amazingly.
Could it be a frozen shoulder?

Were you moving your arm at least a little bit before without pain? Sometimes being told to not use our arm after placement & we follow the directions too well ends up with shoulder & arm pain. Or iot may be what Frank says. please let us know what Dr. says This is all a learning experience for alll of us.
Hope it is easy fix.
