Hi all,
I'm still having complications w my PM and I'm not getting anywhere with my Dr's at Cleveland Clinic. I've had shoulder pain, on my left shoulder blade since day one. The cold seems to make it worse. I'm also still dealing with swelling in my left arm. I've had my implant since 10/11 and the docs say this will go away, but I'm frustrated that after 3 months I still have it. I also started having pressure on my chest again, that is why I had to have the PM put in. I've called and was told I'm could be just stressing myself out. Has anyone else had this problem?

Shoulder pain can be hard to get rid of

A few years ago I overdid it on my right shoulder installing a garbage disposal under the sink. I should have known better than to hold 60 lbs up with one hand while try to line up bolts. Anyway I have had a sensitive joint with a more limited range of motion ever since. It has nothing to do with my pacer though. The two main causes of shoulder problems after getting a pacer are having you body put in stressful positions during the surgery, and being too careful about moving the shoulder afterwards.
I've found that docs don't have much to offer in handling the shoulder thing.
As far as chest pressure is concerned they should be looking into that.
